Eren Magri - Board Member

Eren is the co-founder and owner of The Semi-Tropic, a bar and restaurant serving Echo Park since 2015. Named for a utopianist collective once based in the hills of Echo Park, The Semi-Tropic has a strong spirit of community, cooperation, experimentation, and DIY ethos at the core of its business practices. These are values Eren hopes to represent in the Echo Park business community through the Chamber of Commerce. Prior to entering the hospitality industry, Eren was a practicing attorney in New York City and Los Angeles.

Scott Osgood - Board Member

Scott is the label manager for AKP Recordings - a Los Angeles based creative hub for experimental music and visual art. Scott is involved in artist development, project management, and live event logistics with the label, and looks to bring that experience and enthusiasm to help support Echo Park Rising as a sustainable annual celebration of the business community of Echo Park.

Rhonda Reynolds - Board Emeritus

Rhonda is a longtime resident of Echo Park and she and husband own and operate the restaurant Masa of Echo Park. Rhonda has served on the Board of the Echo Park Chamber of Commerce, the Rampart CPAB and is a current Board Member of Reading to the Rescue, a non-profit focusing on children’s literacy and animal welfare. In 2023 Rhonda was honored as a Woman of the Year by Representative Adam Schiff for the 30th Congressional District. In the past, she has served on the Dodgers Neighborhood Community Advisory Board, the Echo Park Film District Planning Committee, the FILMLA Community Relations Subcommittee (representing Echo Park), and the GEPENC Governmental & External Affairs Committee. Raised in the Midwest by two public school teachers who embraced and encouraged fostering a larger sense of community, she is pleased to have the privilege of supporting local non-profits, schools, neighborhood organizations and fellow business owners, working to cultivate relationships and nurture growth, all in celebration of the unique community that is Echo Park.

KamranV - Board Emeritus

Arts Technologist & MIT Spatial Sound Lab Researcher KamranV builds bridges between artistic intent and playful manifestation. Recent explorations include developing the PHONOCUT home vinyl recorder, reimagining Moogfest, co-creating the SONOS studio and producing Suzanne Ciani’s LIVE Quadraphonic, the first quadraphonic vinyl release in over 30 years. KamranV has received multiple National Endowment for the Arts Media Arts grants and his immersive installations have had special event showings at LACMA and MOMA PS1. In the aughts as an artist manager and new media producer at Interscope Records, he developed early digital music, social, mobile, video platforms, and experimental formats, serving as a producer for immersive  music releases for Nine Inch Nails and Beck. His 112-room, 40,000 sq foot Bedrock.LA music facility was home for Los Angeles creative residents and hosted the production of Weird Al’s #1, Grammy award winning Mandatory Fun. He continues supporting Creative Communities via non-profit arts volunteerism as dublab board member, Echo Park Chamber of Commerce Emeritus Board Member and Echo Park Rising producer.
